BOARD MEMBER
Jennifer McAtamney serves on the lean on us board, bringing a strong background in public service, nonprofit leadership, and deep community engagement in Summit County. As former Executive Director of Building Hope Summit County, she lead community efforts to improve mental health access, reduce stigma, and foster emotional wellness through innovative, community-driven programs.
Her career spans technology marketing, project management, and small business ownership. She served for eight years on the Breckenridge Town Council, including time as Mayor Pro Tem, where she championed housing, childcare, and sustainability initiatives.
She joined lean on us out of a deep belief in its mission to uplift families and individuals during times of crisis. Her board work focuses on building sustainable systems of care, increasing access, and ensuring lived experience informs policy and programs.
A committed community volunteer, Jennifer serves on the boards of Early Childhood Options and the Crime Victim’s Compensation Board. She has held leadership roles in education, planning, and cultural advisory groups.
After the sudden loss of her husband in 2023, she retired from her position at Building Hope to focus on her healing. Today, Jen enjoys hiking, camping, rafting, skiing, gardening, and can regularly be found outside puttering in her yard enjoying the birds and flowers that grace that space. Her leadership reflects a thoughtful blend of strategy, compassion, and dedication to building stronger, more connected communities.
